Absorbent pads for chemicals 41x46 cm Carvel

What it is

Polypropylene absorbent pads from the chemical line, 41x46 cm, for use when acids, toxic liquids or gases dissolved in water are spilled. They can also hold hydrofluoric acid, which few absorbents can handle, and the surface treated with surfactants reduces the vapours released by the collected substance. They are used in laboratories, chemical departments, hospitals and chemical stores.

Industrial absorbents are pads, rolls, pillows, booms and kits that soak up spills of oil, chemicals or water and stop them spreading.

Used for industrial cleaning of production areas, machinery and plant, for workplace safety, as equipment required by the safety plan and for the orderly storage of materials and equipment.

How to use it

Choose the absorbent for the liquid (oil-only, chemical or universal) and keep a spill kit ready near high-risk points. In the event of a spill, put on PPE, surround the spill with booms, cover the drain and lay pads and pillows from the outside towards the centre. Collect used absorbents in closed containers and dispose of them as waste according to the substance absorbed.

Safe use
