What it is
The disc diffuser is a membrane air diffuser for fine-bubble aeration in oxidation/equalisation tanks: for designers and installers, with Ø 214 mm, EPDM membrane, 1/2" GAS connection (hose barb Ø 12/14) and a maximum air flow of 5 m³/h. It ensures even air distribution with limited pressure loss (0.08 bar ≈ 80 mbar), 1–3 mm microbubbles and an efficiency of 7.25% at 5 m³/h; working depth 0.5–6 m and maximum temperature 80 °C, simple maintenance.
The diffuser is the element that feeds the air produced by the blower into the tank, breaking it up into fine bubbles; it can be disc or tubular.
What it is for
Used for filtering system water and in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.
How to use it
Lay it on the bottom of the tank, horizontal and firmly secured, and connect it to the air line with watertight fittings. Check that the bubbles come out evenly over the whole surface. Remove and clean it regularly to prevent the membrane from clogging.
