The water pump pliers are adjustable parallel-jaw pliers with adjustment notches, which grip nuts, screws and pipes like a spanner.
What it is for
Used in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, for tightening nuts and bolts where torque must be accurate and repeatable and for manual work in the workshop and on site.
How to use it
Adjust the opening to the nut or pipe, close the handles and apply leverage. The jaws must sit snugly on the workpiece so as not to damage it. For hard tightening, prefer a fixed spanner; do not extend the pliers with pipes.
