A ceiling light is a luminaire for fixing to the ceiling or wall, with a body that houses the light source and a diffuser. Waterproof versions have seals against dust and water, suitable for damp rooms and covered outdoor areas.

How to use it
With the power off, fix the body to the surface with screws or wall plugs, connect live, neutral and earth to the terminals, and close the diffuser. In damp or dusty rooms use the waterproof version, closing the cable glands properly. Clean the diffuser with the light off and cold.
