Marking powder is a fine pigment, in a bottle or bag, used to refill chalk lines; it comes in different colours, such as blue, red or black.

What it is for

Used for marking out lines, dimensions and reference points before work begins.

How to use it

Pour it into the chalk line reel through the dedicated spout, up to the level indicated. Shake the reel so that the line becomes coated. Use the light colour for temporary marks and the dark colour for longer-lasting ones. Store in a dry place and avoid breathing it in.
