What it is

The desoldering pump is a hand-operated suction tool that removes molten solder from a joint in order to desolder a component.

What it is for

Used for wiring control panels and installations and in welding and the work that goes with it.

How to use it

Cock the pump by pressing the plunger, heat the joint with the soldering iron until the solder melts, then immediately bring the tip of the pump close and press the button, which sucks up the solder. Empty the chamber from time to time.
