The apron is a garment that covers the front of the body, from the chest or waist down to the knees, and protects against splashes, heat or liquids depending on the material: rubber or PVC against liquids, aluminised fabric against radiant heat, reinforced fabric for heavy soiling.
What it is for
Used for food handling, where food-contact materials are required, for cut protection and as personal protective equipment required by the risk assessment.
How to use it
Tie it around the neck and waist and adjust it so that it covers the torso and thighs without hindering movement. Choose the material according to the risk and check before use that there are no cuts, cracks or open seams. After use, clean it with water and mild soap, dry it away from heat sources and replace it if damaged.
