What it is
The Awelco PROFESSIONAL 160 emergency battery starter (code 74160) is the professional solution for restarting flat 12V batteries where reliability and practicality are essential. Designed for workshops, mobile call-outs and light industrial applications, it delivers consistent performance with direct 230V single-phase power.
Vehicle battery chargers and jump starters are units that charge, maintain or help start the lead-acid batteries of cars, motorcycles, work vehicles and generators.
What it is for
Used for vehicle maintenance, in the workshop and on the road and for charging power tool batteries.
How to use it
Set the same voltage as the battery and connect the red clamp to the positive terminal first, then the black clamp to the negative terminal or to an earth point away from the battery. Switch on the unit only once the clamps are connected, and charge in a ventilated area with no flames or sparks nearby. When charging is complete, switch off and disconnect the clamps in reverse order.
