Universal absorbent roll 41 cm x 46 m Carvel

What it is

Universal absorbent roll in polypropylene fibre, 41 cm wide and 46 m long, to cover long stretches of floor or the areas under machines where drips form. It collects water, solvents, oils and lubricants, is antistatic and can be reused. It must not be used with caustic or toxic liquids.

Industrial absorbents are pads, rolls, pillows, booms and kits that soak up spills of oil, chemicals or water and stop them spreading.

What it is for

Used for industrial maintenance of plant and machinery, for workshop maintenance and for industrial cleaning of production areas, machinery and plant.

How to use it

Choose the absorbent for the liquid (oil-only, chemical or universal) and keep a spill kit ready near high-risk points. In the event of a spill, put on PPE, surround the spill with booms, cover the drain and lay pads and pillows from the outside towards the centre. Collect used absorbents in closed containers and dispose of them as waste according to the substance absorbed.

Safe use

Replace saturated or damaged sections of the roll and do not use it on acids, strong alkalis or toxic substances. Dispose of the used material according to the waste code of the liquid absorbed.
