The fretsaw is a bow frame with a thin tensioned blade, for making curved cuts and fretwork in thin wood and plywood; replacement blades are also sold.
What it is for
Used for woodworking in the joinery shop, in woodworking, from cutting to finishing and for cutting solid wood, panels and battens, on the bench or on site.
How to use it
Fit the blade with the teeth pointing towards the handle and tension it well. Rest the workpiece on the bench and cut with regular strokes, without forcing, following the line. If the blade breaks, replace it with an identical one. Work with the blade taut and the workpiece held firmly.
