What it is

Grinding wheels and points are vitrified-bonded, cloth or tungsten carbide tools, shank-mounted or bored, for grinding, deburring, sharpening and finishing metals and other materials.
What it is for
Used for grinding parts and sharpening tools and for deburring parts after machining.
How to use it
Check that the wheel's maximum speed is equal to or higher than that of the machine and that the wheel is not cracked. Insert the shank fully into the collet, or mount the wheel with its flanges, and let it run unloaded for a few seconds before starting work. Work with light, steady pressure, wearing safety glasses or a face shield and gloves.
