What it is
Set for drilling porcelain stoneware made up of 7 bits of 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, 25 and 35 mm with M14 thread, an adapter from M14 to hexagonal and a 115 mm disc (code 430.272.50200). The M14 thread is the thread of the spindle on angle grinders; with the hexagonal adapter the bits can also be fitted in the drill chuck. Compared with the set with suction cup, which has 4 bits up to 12 mm, it goes up to 35 mm and adds the disc.
Glass and tile bits are carbide spear-point bits and diamond cutters or core bits for drilling tiles, porcelain stoneware, glass and stone without chipping them.
What it is for
Used for drilling a range of materials, with the right bit for the substrate, for laying tiles and slabs, from spreading the adhesive to grouting and for installing wall tiling and cladding.
How to use it
Always drill without hammer action, starting the hole with a guide template or with the bit angled so it does not skate on the glaze, then straighten up. Cool glass and tile bits with water; use diamond core bits, including those with an angle grinder fitting, dry or wet depending on the type, with a slight oscillating movement to clear debris. Work with light pressure so as not to overheat the diamond.
