What it is
Connecting system ASTUN FLEX I 180HSS (397) (code 100113200010) is an Irudek fall arrest connecting system for fall protection. It is intended for professional use in work at height and safety applications, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
A fall arrest lanyard is a rope or webbing connecting element, often with an energy absorber, that links the harness to the anchor point.
What it is for
Used as personal protective equipment in hazardous work, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.
How to use it
Connect one end to the designated attachment point on the harness and the other to the anchor with a connector, keeping the anchor as far above head height as possible. Before each use, check stitching, webbing, connectors and the energy absorber cover, which must not be open. Check that there is the required clearance below the working level to arrest a fall. A lanyard that has arrested a fall must be taken out of service.
