Roof ridge hook for ladders Tetto Facile Svelt

What it is

Tetto Facile by Svelt (code STETTOFACILE) is a universal accessory for hooking a ladder onto the ridge of a pitched roof. It screws onto the rungs, provided they have a pitch between 255 and 310 mm and a maximum section of 30x30 mm, and is fitted with small wheels so that the ladder can slide along the slope. The curved part hooks over the ridge and stops the ladder from slipping.

A portable ladder is a stepladder, extension, telescopic or combination ladder in aluminium or steel, for temporary work at height.

What it is for

Used for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for roof maintenance.

How to use it

Before use, check the feet, steps and locking devices; open a stepladder fully, with the spreaders taut, on a stable surface. Set a leaning ladder at an angle of about one in four and make sure it extends beyond the landing point. Climb facing the steps with three points of contact, without exceeding the load capacity or moving the ladder with someone on it.
