What it is

The strap is the part of the levelling system that passes through the joint and is inserted under the tiles, and onto which the wedge or cap is locked to keep the edges aligned.
What it is for
Used for laying large-format slabs, where handling and flatness are the challenge and for laying tiles and slabs, from spreading the adhesive to grouting.
How to use it
Slide it under the edge of two adjacent tiles, straddling the joint, and lock it with the wedge or cap, tightening with the dedicated pliers. Once the adhesive has hardened, the protruding part is snapped off with a sideways blow. The part under the tile remains embedded and cannot be recovered.
