What it is

The Unifix polyester fabric fixing strap (code 15x25 mt) is the professional solution for anchoring pipes, cables and ducts in electrical, plumbing and heating and ventilation installations. Designed for installers, plumbing and heating engineers and industrial maintenance staff who need a strong, lasting fixing without resorting to welding or invasive drilling.

Clamps and ties are tightening collars, metal worm-drive or plastic ratchet types, that grip hoses, sleeves or cables to secure them to fittings and supports.

What it is for

Used for wiring control panels and installations, in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems and for erecting steelwork and structural carpentry.

How to use it

Choose a clamp with a clamping range suited to the diameter to be secured. Slide the worm-drive clamp onto the hose, position it on the hose tail beyond the barb and tighten it with a screwdriver or spanner without cutting into the rubber; cut worm-drive band sold by the metre to length and close it with its screw. Close plastic cable ties by pulling the tail and trim the excess flush.
