What it is

High-density polyethylene sump on which the 1000-litre IBC rests directly: if the container leaks, the liquid falls straight into the basin below. It collects up to 1060 litres and bears a static load of 1500 kg. It resists acids, bases and oils and is easy to clean, and empty sumps can be stacked, which reduces the space taken up in transport.

Safe use

Stand the IBC tank on a level floor and check the base of the sump often so that you notice a leak straight away. The liquid collected must be recovered and disposed of according to the waste code of the substance that leaked.
