How to use it
Choose the bit to suit the material and the chuck type (round, hex, SDS Plus or SDS Max). Engage hammer action only on masonry and concrete and switch it off for metal, wood and tiles. Drill perpendicular to the surface without forcing, withdrawing the bit often to clear dust and letting it cool; replace worn bits.
