What it is

Springs, screws and catches are spare parts for pruning shears: the spring reopens the blades after the cut, the screw holds the two halves together and adjusts the play, the catch locks the blades when not in use.

How to use it
Replace the part with one of the same type and size, taking the shears apart with the suitable tool. After assembly, adjust the central screw so that the blades cut with no play or excessive friction, and oil them.
