Retractable Fall Arresters

Retractable fall arresters connect the operator to an anchor point with a cable or webbing that winds in and out following the operator's movements. In the event of a fall the device locks and arrests the fall. They are used on scaffolding, roofs, platforms and structures. The collection includes products from Irudek, Neri and SpanSet.

Types included in the collection

• Retractable devices with steel cable or galvanised wire rope.
• Webbing devices, with webbing in place of cable.
• Models with rescue winch.

How to choose

Check the usable length of the cable or webbing, the operator's weight, the clearance height below the work point and the type of anchorage. Retractable devices are covered by the EN 360 standard. The working environment also matters: dust, humidity and corrosive agents.
