Eye Bolts and Lifting Eyes
19 products · Structural Bolts and Screws
Eye bolts and lifting eyes are threaded elements ending in a ring: they serve as an attachment point for anchoring, pulling or lifting a load with ropes, chains and slings. They are screwed into a threaded hole or secured with a nut and connect the lifting equipment to the part to be moved.
Types in the collection
- Male eye bolts with threaded shank to be screwed into the hole, in galvanised steel (DIN 580 type).
- Female eye nuts with internal thread, to be screwed onto a pin or threaded rod.
- Lifting eye bolts and swivel lifting points, including weld-on versions.
- Eye screws, forged eyes and anchors with eye for hanging or anchoring light loads to wall, ceiling and timber.
How to choose
Check the thread diameter and pitch, the material and the rated capacity stated by the manufacturer. The capacity of an eye bolt applies to an in-line pull: if the load works at an angle or sideways, the permitted load is reduced. Fixing eye screws are designed for anchoring, not for lifting. The eye bolt must be screwed in fully, until it rests on the surface.
