Refrigerated Dryers for Compressed Air

6 products · Air Treatment and Distribution

Refrigerated dryers remove moisture from compressed air by cooling it: the vapour condenses and is discharged as water. They are installed downstream of the compressor to protect pneumatic tools, pipework and systems from corrosion and damage caused by condensate. These dryers bring the air to a dew point of about +3 °C, suitable for most industrial and workshop applications.

Types in the collection

  • Refrigeration-cycle dryers of small capacity, for workshops and small systems.
  • Abac COOL and DRY series, for medium-capacity systems.
  • Variable speed (VSD) models, which match energy consumption to the load.

How to choose the dryer

The choice starts from the system's air flow rate, the working pressure, the inlet air temperature and the ambient temperature, and the supply voltage. To obtain a dew point lower than +3 °C you need adsorption or membrane dryers.

AMES works by quotation: tell us the use, the working conditions and the quantities and we will propose the most suitable models, with availability and delivery times.
