A refrigerated dryer is a unit that cools compressed air to condense and drain off its moisture before it reaches the network and the tools.
What it is for
Used in compressed air treatment, removing condensate, oil and particulates before the air reaches the point of use.
How to use it
Install it downstream of the compressor and receiver, in a ventilated, sheltered room, with filters and a bypass to allow maintenance. Connect the condensate drain to an oil-water separator and not directly to the sewer. Start it before admitting air and periodically check the dew point, condenser cleanliness and drain valve operation.
