Types of compressor available

How to choose

Start from the air flow and pressure required by the connected tools, then the type of duty: occasional or continuous. The receiver capacity, the electrical supply available (single-phase or three-phase) and the space for installing the machine also matter.

It is also worth considering maintenance: filters, oil and periodic checks depend on the type of compressor and the hours of work. A machine sized with a little margin avoids running at its limit all the time.
