Wall Sanders, Polishers and Power Floats

This collection brings together machines for sanding, polishing and floating walls and ceilings: sanders for plasterboard and plaster, with a telescopic pole for working at height, and power floats for finishing surfaces.

Types available

• Long-reach wall sanders: with telescopic pole and 225 mm disc, corded or cordless (DeWalt, Stanley, Makita).
• Sanders for walls and plasterboard: with dust bag or vacuum connection (Breaker, Pavan).
• Electric power floats: for finishing plaster (Maltech).

How to choose

Consider the disc diameter, the power, the pole length and the weight, which is important when working at height. For walls and ceilings, a machine that can be connected to a vacuum is advisable to limit dust. Cordless versions give more freedom, while corded ones work with no limit on battery life.

Always wear safety glasses and a dust mask when sanding, and change the abrasive disc when it loses its bite.
