What it is

The DeWalt DCE800T2-QW drywall sander is the complete kit version with two 6 Ah FlexVolt batteries, for long cordless working autonomy. Cordless and with a 225 mm disc, it weighs 3.9 kg and has an operating length of 1600 mm that makes it possible to reach tall walls and ceilings while standing on the ground.

The wall sander is an electric machine with an abrasive backing pad, often mounted on a telescopic pole, which sands plasterboard, fillers and plaster on walls and ceilings.

How to use it

Fit the abrasive disc of the suitable grit to the hook-and-loop backing pad and connect a vacuum cleaner for the dust. Rest the pad flat against the wall and move the machine in regular passes, without stopping in one spot so as not to create hollows. Work with a dust mask and goggles and change the disc when it no longer removes material.
