Lubricants

Oils, greases, sprays and protective products to reduce friction, free up moving parts and protect metal parts from rust and wear. They are everyday products in the workshop, on site, in the maintenance of machines and equipment and on industrial lines.

Types available

• Multi-purpose and penetrating sprays, for seized screws and parts;

How to choose

Look at the application: chains, hinges, gears and conveyor belts call for different products. Food lines need lubricants declared suitable for the purpose, and outdoor use calls for water-resistant products. Also consider the pack size: spray for quick jobs, drum or barrel for continuous use.

Using the wrong lubricant can make things worse: an oil that is too thin runs off, while a grease that is too thick can slow the movement. For this reason it is best to always state the component to be treated when asking for a product.
