Demolition Chisels

Demolition chisels are used to break, scrape off and finish masonry, concrete, plaster and tiles. They are used by hand, with a hammer, or fitted to rotary hammers and breakers. In the AMES catalogue you will find chisels from DeWalt, Stanley, Fischer, Milwaukee and Unifix.

Types in the collection

• Point chisels: for breaking and opening up masonry or concrete.
• Flat chisels: for chasing, stripping plaster and levelling surfaces.
• Wide tile chisels: for removing floors and wall coverings.
• Hand chisels with hand guard: for manual work, with protection for the gripping hand.

How to choose

First of all check the shank compatible with your hammer (for example SDS-plus or SDS-max), then choose the shape according to the job: point for breaking, flat for chasing and scraping, wide for tiles. Also consider the length of the chisel and the material to be worked.
