What it is

The Arrotolatore Stop Neri 121059 is a retractable fall arrester with a 47 mm textile webbing and an energy absorber, certified EN 360:2002 as category III PPE. The housing is made of thermoplastic material; it has an upper connector with a galvanised steel ring nut and a swivel aluminium connector with a safety closure. Fully extended it reaches a maximum of 2.25 m, connectors included; it weighs about 1180 g and measures 96 x 98 x 320 mm.

A retractable fall arrester is a device with a wound-in cable or webbing that pays out as the worker moves and locks instantly in the event of a fall.

What it is for

Used for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.

How to use it

Attach the device to a certified anchor, normally above the worker, and connect the karabiner to the dorsal or sternal attachment point of the harness. Before use, test that it locks with a sharp pull, check that the cable or webbing is undamaged and that the fall indicator has not been triggered. Keep the line away from sharp edges and have the device serviced at the intervals set by the manufacturer.
