What it is

The Fervi TM01/009 is a set of T-handle Torx keys, arranged in a soft thermoformed tray measuring 188 x 405 x 33 mm, with a gross weight of 0.87 kg. It covers profiles from T6 to T50 (T6, T7, T8, T9, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, T40, T45, T50); the items included belong to the 0405/... series. A complete range for star-recess screws.

A hex key is an L- or T-shaped male key, hexagonal or Torx, that fits into the recess in the screw head to tighten or loosen it.

What it is for

Used for assembly work and for tightening nuts and bolts where torque must be accurate and repeatable.

How to use it

Choose the exact size and profile of the recess and insert the key fully so as not to damage the head. To break loose or tighten, put the short arm in the screw and lever on the long arm; for fast driving or awkward spots, use the long arm or the ball end. Do not extend the leverage with tubes, and replace the key when its edges are rounded.
