Quick-fit nut FSM 31 Clix P Fischer

What it is

The Fischer FSM 31 Clix P quick-fit nut is a profile nut with an M6 thread, designed for quick fixing in support systems. It offers a maximum recommended shear load (P E ) of 1.5 kN and a maximum recommended shear load (V R ) of 1 kN, and is supplied in boxes of 50 pieces.

The channel nut, with a hammer head or hook head, has a shaped head that fits into the channel of a mounting rail and locks in place, so that brackets and loads can be fixed along the rail.

What it is for

Used for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors, for erecting steelwork and structural carpentry and for supporting pipework and ductwork.

How to use it

Slide it into the rail channel and turn it until it engages the edges of the profile. Then fit the screw or threaded rod from the opposite side and tighten to the specified torque, checking that the head is properly seated. Check periodically that it has not worked loose.
