What it is
Grout float, art. 864. Key specifications: dimensions (mm) 250 x 110, thickness (mm) 10, material Polyurethane.
A float is a hand tool with a plate in plastic, sponge, rubber, polyurethane or steel for spreading, smoothing or finishing renders, mortars, fillers and resins.
What it is for
Used for laying tiles and slabs, from spreading the adhesive to grouting, for installing wall tiling and cladding and for filling surfaces and joints.
How to use it
Choose the plate for the job: steel or notched for spreading and smoothing, sponge for finishing, rubber for grouting and resins. Work with the plate almost flat in circular or criss-cross movements, dampening the sponge when needed. After use, wash it immediately with water before the material hardens and replace the sponge when worn.
