What it is
The Unifix serrated washer (code 0429-4-01 and variants) is a reliable solution for mechanical fixings that require high resistance to loosening. Designed for industrial, building and maintenance applications, it ensures a secure grip on metal surfaces thanks to its external serrations, preventing slipping and loosening over time.
A washer is a perforated disc placed under the nut or screw head to spread the load, prevent loosening or insulate the fixing.
What it is for
Used for assembling steel structures and for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors.
How to use it
Choose an inner diameter matching the screw or threaded rod and a compatible material (zinc-plated, stainless steel, plastic). Place flat washers and penny washers under the nut to avoid damaging the substrate and to spread the pressure; place the spring washer under the nut, where it is flattened on tightening to resist vibration loosening. Use seismic washers only with the anchor they are certified for.
