What it is

Hexagon socket BT-42 with C 6.3-1/4" drive by Cetaform (cod. 0701-602-208-01) is a professional bit designed for precision tightening and loosening of socket-head hexagon screws. An essential tool for machine shops, maintenance workshops and sites that require reliability and adaptability in tight spaces.

Impact sockets are reinforced sockets for use with impact wrenches, together with extensions, universal joints and adapters that fit the tool's square drive.

What it is for

Used for repetitive screwdriving into wood, metal and plasterboard, where torque and consistency matter, in steel fabrication, from cutting to assembly and for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors.

How to use it

Choose a socket of the exact size of the nut and with the same square drive as the impact wrench, or use an adapter. Push it on until the detent ball or retaining ring clicks home, adding an extension or universal joint only if needed to reach the nut. On impact tools, use only impact-rated sockets and accessories, as chrome hand sockets can shatter. Discard sockets with a worn-oval or cracked opening.
