Insulated safety cabinet for lithium batteries Type 90 1200x600x1950 mm Carvel

What it is

Insulated cabinet for lithium batteries, 1200x600x1950 mm, certified Type 90 according to UNI EN 14470-1. The insulation is made of high-density fibre panels without ceramic fibre and of calcium sulphate, with an interior lining of melamine laminate. Above 47 °C the doors close by themselves and at 70 °C the air duct valves close. Inside there are four perforated shelves and an earthing terminal.

Cabinets and lockers are metal or plastic units for storing clothing, tools and cleaning products and, in safety versions, hazardous substances such as acids and drums.

What it is for

Used for workplace safety, as equipment required by the safety plan and for the orderly storage of materials and equipment.

How to use it

Stand them on a level floor and fix tall, narrow units to the wall or floor to prevent tipping. In safety cabinets, keep incompatible products apart, for example acids and alkalis, observe the shelf load ratings and check the spill sump. Keep the doors closed and entrust the keys to designated staff.

Safe use

Connect the earthing clamp and do not wedge the doors open, so as not to prevent them from closing automatically. Store only undamaged batteries and handle damaged ones in accordance with company procedures.
