Insulated safety cabinet for flammable liquids Type 90 height 1950 mm Carvel

What it is

Insulated cabinet for storing flammable liquids in departments, with 90 minutes of fire resistance certified according to EN 14470-1:2023. The air duct valves close automatically at 70 °C and the doors self-close above 50 °C, while in normal use they stay put in any position. A steel sump with a grating collects any leaks at the bottom and an earthing clamp prevents the build-up of electrostatic charge.

Cabinets and lockers are metal or plastic units for storing clothing, tools and cleaning products and, in safety versions, hazardous substances such as acids and drums.

Used for workplace safety, as equipment required by the safety plan and for the orderly storage of materials and equipment.

How to use it

Stand them on a level floor and fix tall, narrow units to the wall or floor to prevent tipping. In safety cabinets, keep incompatible products apart, for example acids and alkalis, observe the shelf load ratings and check the spill sump. Keep the doors closed and entrust the keys to designated staff.

Safe use

Connect the earthing clamp to the earthing system before putting in flammable liquids. Check the base sump periodically and dispose of the liquid collected as waste, according to the substance spilled.
