Concrete screw anchor CLS-B CE Bossong

What it is

The CLS-B CE concrete screw anchor by Bossong is a mechanical anchor in galvanised steel with a domed head and an integrated anti-slip washer, designed for applications in cracked and uncracked concrete. Certified for heavy loads, it is suitable for civil and industrial building, providing fire resistance and seismic category C1 qualification. The 6 mm diameter version comes in various lengths to suit different fixing thicknesses.

A concrete screw is a screw anchor that is driven directly into the hole in concrete or masonry, cutting its own thread, without a plug.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.

How to use it

Drill with a bit of the diameter specified for the screw to the required depth and clean the hole thoroughly. Drive the screw through the part being fixed with a spanner or impact driver until it is seated, without overtightening. Observe the edge distances and hole spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
