What it is
The FBR threaded expansion anchor by Bossong is a mechanical anchor in galvanised steel with an internal thread, designed for applications in concrete. Ideal for structural connections with bolts or threaded rods, it ensures stability and strength in building settings where a reliable anchorage is required. What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
