What it is
The PK140LS Breaker pneumatic rock drill is a professional tool designed for drilling in rock, concrete and high-strength materials. Thanks to its silenced system and double handle, it ensures high performance even in demanding working conditions, such as on horizontal or vertical surfaces. Ideal for building sites, controlled demolition and excavation work, this rotary hammer combines robustness and handiness for precise, lasting results.
A pneumatic or hydraulic rock drill is a percussion and rotation tool powered by compressed air or pressurised oil, used to drill rock, concrete and masonry with drill rods and bits, mainly on excavation and demolition sites.
What it is for
Used for demolishing masonry and concrete structures, for drilling a range of materials, with the right bit for the substrate and for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode.
How to use it
Connect it to its power source (compressor or hydraulic power pack), checking hoses, fittings and lubrication. Fit the drill rod with the right bit, lock it in the chuck and start drilling with moderate feed pressure, letting the machine do the work. Take breaks to limit vibration, and wear ear defenders, safety glasses, a dust mask, anti-vibration gloves and safety footwear.
