What it is
Cast Master™ and Cast Master XL/XLE Series Metal Band Saw Blades Lenox. Key specifications: material Special carbide, application Aluminium cutting, height 12,7 mm, 19 mm, 27 mm, 34 mm, 41 mm, 54 mm, 67 mm, 80 mm.
A metal-cutting bandsaw blade is a bi-metal or carbide toothed band, welded into a loop, that fits a bandsaw for cutting bars, tubes and sections.
What it is for
Used for cutting metal sections, sheet and tube and for cutting metal and plastic pipes.
How to use it
Choose the tooth pitch according to the thickness and shape of the workpiece, so that at least three teeth are always in the material. Fit it with the teeth in the cutting direction, tension it correctly and bring the guides close to the workpiece. Run in new blades at reduced feed for the first cuts, and use cutting fluid if the machine is designed for it.
Where it is used
- Mechanical engineering industry
- Mechanical workshops
