Safety container for drums on pallets with bi-bloc racking and spill sump Carvel

What it is

Safety container for palletised drums placed on bi-bloc racking, with a galvanised steel collection sump under a 600 kg/m² grating floor. Capacity depends on the pallet size: with 800x1200 mm pallets it holds 12, 24 or 36 drums, with 1200x1200 mm pallets 16, 32 or 48. The walls can be galvanised corrugated sheet, polyurethane panels or EI/REI 120 mineral wool panels, and the container is moved by forklift truck or crane.

A storage container is a lockable sheet steel unit, shipping or site type, for keeping tools, machinery and materials secure outdoors.

What it is for

Used for workplace safety, as equipment required by the safety plan, for the orderly storage of materials and equipment and for storing materials in the warehouse and on site.

How to use it

Set it on level, compacted ground, raised off the ground on beams or blocks, and level it so the doors close properly. Organise materials on shelving along the walls, leaving a central aisle, and ventilate to reduce condensation. Secure it with a padlock and periodically check the roof, seals and hinges.

Safe use

Fix the container to the ground with anchors and do not place drums containing incompatible substances next to one another. The liquid collected in the sump must be disposed of as waste according to the substance that leaked.
