What it is
The 103 from CSC Edilizia is a temporary universal guardrail with tilting clamp: a galvanised steel post to be fixed to edges of concrete, wood and similar materials. The clamp opens up to 800 mm and the piece weighs 5 kg. It is certified to class A according to EN 13374 (ISPESL-INAIL certificate DTS-XI/02/08/PPP of 22 December 2008). The same series includes the 104, a version with a 4.7 kg clamp.
A temporary guardrail is a temporary galvanised steel fall protection system, with posts, clamps or hooks and boards, fitted to the edges of slabs, roofs and excavations during works.
What it is for
Used for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system, for protecting edges and corners and for construction site safety.
How to use it
Choose the attachment according to the edge: clamp on a slab or beam, under-tile hook on a roof, freestanding base on a flat surface. Fit the posts at the spacings specified by the manufacturer and insert the rails and toe board without leaving openings. Check tightness before each shift and after wind or bad weather.
