What it is
The CSC Edilizia 119 UD right-hand post is a structural element for safety guardrails, made of S235JR (Fe 360 B) steel. It is made from 8 mm thick sheet and fitted with two fixing holes, in accordance with the general tolerances of UNI-ISO 2768. It forms the right-hand side upright of the perimeter protection system.
A permanent guardrail is a fixed aluminium or steel fall protection system, also with mesh panels, installed on roofs, edges, balconies and inspection pits.
What it is for
Used for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system and for protecting edges and corners.
How to use it
Check that the supporting structure (slab, parapet wall or roof) can bear the loads specified by the manufacturer. Assemble the posts, rails and toe boards following the manual and secure them with the specified anchors, leaving no gaps. Inspect the fixings and check for corrosion regularly, as required by the manufacturer.
