What it is
The CSC Edilizia 24A-24B-24C Cl.A guardrail for slab formwork is an edge protection device specific to use during the formwork stage of slabs. Made of S235JR (Fe 360 B) steel, it is available in the variants of the series with a weight of between 5.7 and 7.5 kg depending on the configuration; machining follows the UNI-ISO 2768 general tolerances.
A temporary guardrail is a temporary galvanised steel fall protection system, with posts, clamps or hooks and boards, fitted to the edges of slabs, roofs and excavations during works.
What it is for
Used for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system, for protecting edges and corners and for construction site safety.
How to use it
Choose the attachment according to the edge: clamp on a slab or beam, under-tile hook on a roof, freestanding base on a flat surface. Fit the posts at the spacings specified by the manufacturer and insert the rails and toe board without leaving openings. Check tightness before each shift and after wind or bad weather.
