What it is
The type A – C anchor CSC Edilizia 413D is a structural component for lifeline systems, designed for fixing anchor points on roofs. It is built of S235JR (Fe 360 B) steel to UNI-ISO 2768, with a height of 280 mm and a weight of 6.50 kg. Its fixing provision is elaborate: four Ø 18 mm holes, four 18x45 mm slots and one 32x55 mm slot, with slotting also angled at 45 degrees that allows flexibility in positioning and adapting to the support.
Lifeline anchors are certified posts, brackets and fixed points that are secured to the roof or structure for attaching lifelines and fall arrest devices.
What it is for
Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for roof maintenance.
How to use it
They are installed to design by a qualified installer, on a verified substrate (timber, concrete, steel, metal sheeting), using the fixings specified by the manufacturer. On completion, the installer issues the declaration and documentation, and the required periodic inspections are carried out. Workers check the anchor before clipping on and do not use it if it is deformed or has already arrested a fall.
