What it is
The CSC Edilizia 421C type A anchor is a structural element for fall protection safety systems, intended to provide a stable fixing point on roofs and structures. It is made of S235JR (Fe 360 B) structural steel with a hot-dip galvanising treatment for corrosion protection suited to outdoor exposure, has a height of 510 mm and weighs 6.50 kg. The plate is fitted with Ø 18 mm holes, 18x45 mm slots and a Ø 32 mm hole; machining meets the general tolerances of the UNI-ISO 2768 standard.
Lifeline anchors are certified posts, brackets and fixed points that are secured to the roof or structure for attaching lifelines and fall arrest devices.
What it is for
Used as an anchor point in fall protection systems, for roof maintenance and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.
How to use it
They are installed to design by a qualified installer, on a verified substrate (timber, concrete, steel, metal sheeting), using the fixings specified by the manufacturer. On completion, the installer issues the declaration and documentation, and the required periodic inspections are carried out. Workers check the anchor before clipping on and do not use it if it is deformed or has already arrested a fall.
