What it is

The polishing sponge is a sponge pad with a hook-and-loop backing, to be fitted to the backing plate of a polisher for spreading and polishing waxes and compounds on paintwork and surfaces.

What it is for

Used for finishing surfaces and for polishing surfaces.

How to use it

Fit it centred on the backing plate and apply a little compound or wax to the surface. Work at low speed with the machine held flat and with smooth movements. Choose the softest sponge for the finish. Wash it after use and replace it when it is worn or hardened.
