Mesh-backed Abrasive Ø 225mm (A120) Makita D-82220. Key specifications: diameter (mm) 225, grit A120, pieces per pack 5.

Orbital and random orbital sander abrasives are paper or cloth discs and sheets, with hook-and-loop or clamp fixing, and the backing pads they fit onto.

What it is for

Used for sanding surfaces before painting, for finishing walls and for sanding surfaces, as preparation or as a finish.

How to use it

Choose a disc or sheet with the same shape and hole pattern as the pad and centre it so that the extraction holes line up. Start with a coarse grit and move to finer grits up to the finish.
