What it is
The DeWalt D25981K-QS breaker is a high-performance electric demolition hammer, corded with a 2100 W input, fitted with a 28 mm hex tool holder. It is equipped with the AVC vibration control system to reduce operator fatigue. With a weight of 31 kg and dimensions of 780 mm in length and 620 mm in height, it is designed for the heaviest demolition work, where maximum impact energy and stability are needed.
A demolition hammer is a corded or cordless percussion-only power tool that uses chisels to break up concrete, masonry, render and floors.
What it is for
Used for demolishing masonry and concrete structures, for controlled demolition, where clean cuts and low vibration are required and for chiselling concrete, masonry and plaster.
How to use it
Insert the clean, greased chisel into the tool holder until it clicks and check that it is locked. Hold the tool with both hands, let the weight of the machine do the work without pushing, and work in short sections, angling the chisel to break away the material. Wear safety glasses, hearing protection, a dust mask and anti-vibration gloves, and take breaks to limit vibration exposure.
