What it is

The DeWalt DCS579NT-XJ is a high-performance circular saw from the XR FlexVolt 54V platform, supplied as a bare unit. It takes a 190 mm blade with a 30 mm bore and reaches 5800 rpm no-load, for powerful, smooth cutting even in the most demanding materials. It offers a cutting depth of 61 mm at 90° and 43 mm at 45°, with a body 355 mm long, 245 mm high and weighing 3.7 kg.

How to use it

Fit the blade suited to the material, observing the direction of rotation, set the depth just beyond the material thickness and clamp the workpiece. Start the blade before it touches the workpiece and feed steadily along the line or guide rail, without forcing or lifting the machine during the cut. Check that the lower guard always returns to its position, wear safety glasses and ear defenders, and connect dust extraction whenever possible.
